Dyla-Trol valves are designed for smooth laminar flow, featuring a unique construction that ensures perfectly tapering flow through an iris type orifice mechanism. Unlike needle-type flow controls that generate turbulence, Dyla-Trol valves maintain a consistent 360-degree laminar flow irrespective of the setting. These valves offer high repeatability due to a fast-acting check mechanism, which responds to minimal pressure changes, enabling quick resetting and reliable repeatability with each cycle. They provide precise-metering flow control, allowing users to fine-tune cylinder speeds effectively; for optimal results, the flow control valves should be placed directly on the cylinder ports with the free flow direction aimed towards the cylinder. While commonly utilized for cylinder speed adjustments, Dyla-Trol valves are also suitable for controlling air or oil flow in various applications. Their compact inline design facilitates easy flow setting and plumbing, featuring a hexagonal adjusting sleeve that can be hand-turned and is minimally larger than the tubing, ensuring seamless integration. Each valve is factory-tuned for accuracy, achieving perfect orifice concentricity essential for high performance, and each sleeve and body set is permanently mated during production.
