The NachI 29440E is a spherical roller thrust bearing featuring an extra capacity design with a bronze cage. This bearing incorporates an improved internal design that allows it to achieve twice the bearing life compared to conventional E-type spherical roller thrust bearings. It is specifically engineered to carry heavy axial loads while also being capable of supporting radial loads, provided that these radial loads do not exceed 50% of the axial loads. To prevent damage from sliding motion between the rollers and the raceway, it is essential that these bearings be subjected to a load exceeding the minimum axial load, which is calculated as Fa min = static load rating / 1000. The NachI 29440E bearings are self-aligning, with a maximum allowable misalignment of approximately 2°. For optimum performance, oil lubrication is recommended for the conventional E-type design.
