Nachi spherical roller bearings are designed to support both heavy radial and axial loads in either direction. They feature a self-aligning capability that automatically corrects for deflection of the shaft, housing, or misalignment of axes, thereby preventing excessive force application. The bearings utilize Nachi's newly developed heat stabilization process, allowing them to maintain normal function in operating temperatures of up to 200°C (392°F) with minimal dimensional changes and no reduction in bearing life. Under general service conditions, the maximum permissible misalignment angle is approximately 2°.
