The NACHI 29444E is a spherical roller thrust bearing featuring an extra capacity design with a bronze cage. Its improved internal design allows for a bearing life that is twice that of conventional E-type spherical roller thrust bearings. This bearing is specifically engineered to carry heavy axial loads and can also support radial loads, provided those radial loads do not exceed 50% of the axial loads. To mitigate damage from sliding motion between the rollers and raceway, it is crucial that these bearings operate under a load greater than the minimum axial load, which is defined as Fa min = static load rating / 1000. The NACHI 29444E bearings are self-aligning, with a maximum allowable misalignment of approximately 2 degrees. For optimal performance, oil lubrication is recommended for the conventional E-type.
