The Nachi 29415EXS1 is a spherical roller thrust bearing featuring an extra capacity design with a steel cage. It incorporates an improved internal design that allows for twice the bearing life compared to conventional E-type spherical roller thrust bearings. This bearing is specifically engineered to handle heavy axial loads while also supporting radial loads, provided that the radial loads do not exceed 50% of the axial loads. To prevent damage from sliding motion between the rollers and the raceway, the bearings must be subjected to a load greater than the minimum axial load (Fa min = static load rating / 1000). Additionally, these bearings are self-aligning with a maximum allowable misalignment of approximately 2°. Oil lubrication is recommended for optimal performance with the conventional E-type.
