The NACHI 29422EXS1 is a spherical roller thrust bearing featuring an extra capacity design and a steel cage. This bearing's improved internal design allows it to achieve twice the bearing life compared to conventional E-type spherical roller thrust bearings. It is specifically engineered to carry heavy axial loads while also supporting radial loads, provided that the radial loads do not exceed 50% of the axial loads. To avoid damage due to sliding motion between the rollers and raceway, it is essential for the bearings to be subjected to a load greater than the minimum axial load (FA min = static load rating / 1000). This bearing is self-aligning with a maximum allowable misalignment of approximately 2°, and oil lubrication is recommended for the conventional E-type.
