The NachI 29338E is a spherical roller thrust bearing designed with an extra capacity and features a bronze cage for improved performance. Its advanced internal design enables the NachI Ex-type to provide twice the bearing life compared to conventional E-type spherical roller thrust bearings. Engineered to handle heavy axial loads, this bearing can also support radial loads provided that these do not exceed 50% of the axial loads. To prevent damage due to sliding motion between the rollers and the raceway, it is crucial that these bearings are subjected to a minimum axial load, calculated as FA min = static load rating / 1000. Additionally, these bearings are self-aligning, with a maximum allowable misalignment of approximately 2°. Oil lubrication is recommended for optimal performance of the conventional E-type bearings.
