The High Speed Steel Aircraft Extension Drill is designed for general purpose deep drilling in normal steels, cast iron, and various other ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys, and is available in lengths of 6 inches and 12 inches. This drill features a right hand (clockwise rotation) cutting direction and a standard two flute design, incorporating normal spiral helical flutes. It is cylindrically ground from solid high speed steel and comes with a black oxide finish for enhanced durability.
