The high-speed steel aircraft extension drill is designed for general-purpose deep drilling in normal steels, cast iron, and various ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. It is available in lengths of 6 inches and 12 inches, featuring a right-hand (clockwise rotation) cutting direction and a standard two-flute design. The drill includes a normal spiral with helical flutes and is cylindrically ground from solid high-speed steel, providing enhanced durability and performance. Additionally, it is finished with a black oxide coating for improved corrosion resistance.
