The High Speed Steel Aircraft Extension Drill is designed for general-purpose deep drilling in normal steels, cast iron, and a variety of other ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. It is available in lengths of 6 inches and 12 inches, featuring a right-hand (clockwise rotation) cutting direction and a standard two-flute design. The drill incorporates normal spiral helical flutes and is cylindrically ground from solid high-speed steel. It is finished with a black oxide coating for enhanced durability.
