The high-speed steel aircraft extension drill is designed for general-purpose deep drilling in normal steels, cast iron, and various other ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. It is available in two lengths: 6 inches and 12 inches. This drill features a right-hand (clockwise rotation) cutting direction and a standard two-flute design. The technical specifications include normal spiral helical flutes, and it is cylindrically ground from solid high-speed steel with a black oxide finish.
