Nachi spherical roller bearings are designed to accommodate both heavy radial and axial loads in either direction. They feature a self-aligning capability that automatically corrects deflection of the shaft, housing, or misalignment of axes, thereby preventing the application of excessive force. The bearings are manufactured using a newly developed heat stabilization process, allowing them to function effectively at operating temperatures of up to 200°C (392°F) with minimal dimensional changes and no reduction in bearing life. Under general service conditions, these bearings can withstand a maximum permissible misalignment angle of approximately 2°.
