NACHI spherical roller bearings are designed to sustain both heavy radial and axial loads in either direction while accommodating deflection of the shaft, housing, or misalignment of axes through their self-aligning feature, which prevents the application of excessive force. They incorporate a newly developed heat stabilization process that allows for normal operation at temperatures up to 200°C (392°F) with minimal dimensional changes and no reduction in bearing life. Under general service conditions, the maximum permissible misalignment angle is approximately 2°.
