NACHI spherical roller bearings are designed to support heavy radial and axial loads in both directions. They incorporate a self-aligning feature that automatically corrects for shaft deflection, housing misalignment, or axis misalignment, thereby preventing excessive force application. The bearings are produced with a newly developed heat stabilization process, allowing them to operate effectively at temperatures up to 200°C (392°F) with minimal dimensional changes and no reduction in bearing life. Under general service conditions, the maximum permissible misalignment angle is approximately 2°.
