The Ultratech Ultra-Ada Pad, model 0752, is a yellow retrofit detectable warning system that measures 2' x 5' and is designed to assist visually impaired individuals. It is available in four sizes: 2' x 2', 2' x 3', 2' x 4', and 2' x 5'. The safety yellow color enhances visibility for those with severe visual impairments, while the flexible construction allows the pad to conform to dips, slopes, and inclines in sidewalks and walkways. The Ultra-Ada pads enable visually impaired users to feel the raised, truncated domes with their feet, providing an alert to a different surface and an upcoming intersection when used with a tapping cane. The installation process is quick and easy, utilizing adhesive and anchors, which are included. The product offers improved slip resistance and impact resistance compared to composites and is unbreakable.
