The Secador® line of desiccator cabinets features an attractive design and sturdy construction that provides reliable storage for moisture and light sensitive products. The kits include a variety of sizes, styles, and colors to meet specific needs, with Durastar® co-polyester construction that blocks 99% of UV light and exhibits resistance to staining, crazing, and chemical attack. Amber color models are available to reduce visible light penetration by over 50%, making them ideal for storing light sensitive materials such as reagents, analytical standards, and investigational compounds. The cabinets are designed with large doors for maximal access to interior space, equipped with a patented seal design, tab latches, and security loops for a padlock or tamper-evident seals. The vertical units, available in sizes of 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0, have a compact footprint of 34.1 W x 41.4 cm D, allowing for space-saving stacking of up to three units high. Additional features include perforated shelves to facilitate dry air circulation and an easy-to-view dial hygrometer located in the door front.
