The Secador® line of desiccator cabinets features an attractive design and sturdy construction, ensuring reliable storage of moisture and light-sensitive products. These cabinets are available in an extensive selection of sizes, styles, and colors to meet specific needs, with Durastar® co-polyester construction that blocks 99% of UV light and is resistant to staining, crazing, and chemical attack. Amber color models effectively reduce visible light penetration by over 50%, making them ideal for storing light-sensitive materials such as reagents, analytical standards, and investigational compounds. The cabinets are equipped with large doors for maximum interior access, a patented seal design, tab latches, and security loops for padlocks or tamper-evident seals. The 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0 vertical units feature a compact footprint of 34.1 W x 41.4 cm D, allowing for space-saving stacking up to three units high. Perforated shelves promote dry air circulation, while an easy-to-view dial hygrometer is conveniently located in the door front.
