The W-Series Direct Heat Foot-Operated Sealer is designed to seal various thermoplastic materials, including coated aluminum foil, kraft paper, cellophane, polypropylene, poly-nylon, and other thicker materials, although it is important to note that polyethylene cannot be sealed. This sealer can accommodate materials up to 18" wide and 20 mil total thickness, depending on the model. It features a German-manufactured thermostat that accurately controls the temperature from 30°F to 550°F (0°C to 300°C) and ensures both jaws are heated simultaneously for improved heat penetration to seal thicker materials. The W-Series Sealers come with an adjustable work table and a standard pedestal stand height of 26", with an optional 36" stand available. Operation is straightforward: set the temperature on the thermostat or thermo-controller based on the material, and once the desired temperature is reached, consistent seals are maintained automatically by inserting the material between the sealing bars, pressing down on the footboard, and releasing.
