The KF Impulse Hand Sealers with a sliding cutter allow for efficient cutting and sealing of poly bags and other thermoplastic materials in one easy step, requiring no warm-up time. Depending on the model, these sealers can handle materials up to 20 inches wide and 20 mil total thickness. They feature a plug-in electronic timer that provides precise control over sealing times for various material thicknesses. Available sizes include 8", 12", 16", and 20", with seal widths of 2mm, 2.6mm, 5mm, or 10mm. The manufacturer's kit includes two heating elements and two PTFE covers, while full replacement kits include two heating elements, two PTFE adhesives, two PTFE covers, and one blade, available for separate purchase. Operation is straightforward: set the timer, insert the bag between the sealing bars, press down and release, holding the sealing arm for an additional second or two to ensure proper sealing, and use the sliding cutting bracket to cut the bag.
