The KF Impulse Hand Sealers with a sliding cutter allow for cutting and sealing in one easy step, efficiently sealing poly bags and other thermoplastic materials without any warm-up time. Depending on the model, materials up to 20" wide and 20 mil total thickness can be sealed. The sealers feature a plug-in electronic timer that regulates sealing times for various material thicknesses. Available sizes include 8", 12", 16", and 20", with seal widths of 2mm, 2.6mm, 5mm, or 10mm. The manufacturer's kit includes two heating elements and two PTFE covers. Full replacement kits are available separately, containing two heating elements, two PTFE adhesives, two PTFE covers, and one blade. Operation is straightforward: set the timer, insert the bag between the sealing bars, press down and release, and it is recommended to hold the sealing arm down for an additional second or two to ensure proper sealing. To cut the bag, the cutting bracket can be slid across the bag.
