The KF Impulse Hand Sealer with a sliding cutter is designed for efficient cutting and sealing in one step, capable of sealing poly bags and other thermoplastic materials quickly without any warm-up time. Depending on the specific model, it can seal materials up to 20" wide and 20 mil total thickness. Each sealer includes a plug-in electronic timer to control sealing times for various material thicknesses. Available sizes include 8", 12", 16", and 20", with options for seal widths of 2mm, 2.6mm, 5mm, or 10mm. The manufacturer's kit comprises two heating elements and two PTFE covers. Operation is straightforward: set the timer, insert the bag between the sealing bars, and press down before releasing; it is recommended to hold the sealing arm down for an additional second or two to secure the seal. To cut the bag, users can slide the cutting bracket across it.
