The KF Impulse Hand Sealer with a sliding cutter enables efficient cutting and sealing in one step, designed to seal poly bags and other thermoplastic materials quickly without any warm-up time. Depending on the specific model, it can seal materials up to 20" wide and a total thickness of 20 mil. Each sealer is equipped with a plug-in electronic timer that adjusts for the different sealing times needed for varying material thicknesses. Available sizes include 8", 12", 16", and 20", with seal widths of either 2mm, 2.6mm, 5mm, or 10mm. The manufacturer's kit comes complete with two elements and two PTFE covers. Operation is straightforward: set the timer, insert the bag between the sealing bars, and press down to seal, with a recommendation to hold the sealing arm down for an additional second or two to ensure proper cooling. To cut the bag, simply slide the cutting bracket across the bag.
