The KF Impulse Hand Sealer with a sliding cutter is designed for cutting and sealing poly bags and other thermoplastic materials efficiently without the need for warm-up time. It can accommodate materials up to 20" wide and 20 mil in total thickness, depending on the specific model. This sealer features a plug-in electronic timer that allows for precise control of sealing times tailored to different material thicknesses. Available sizes include 8", 12", 16", and 20", with seal widths of 2mm, 2.6mm, 5mm, or 10mm. The manufacturer’s kit comes with two sealing elements and two PTFE covers. Operation is straightforward: after setting the timer, the user inserts the bag between the sealing bars, presses down, and releases. It is suggested to hold the sealing arm down for an additional second or two for optimal results. To cut the bag, the cutting bracket can be slid across the bag for a clean finish.
