The KF Impulse Hand Sealers are designed to seal poly bags and other thermoplastic materials efficiently without requiring warm-up time, capable of sealing materials up to 20" wide and 20 mil total thickness depending on the model. Each sealer features a plug-in electronic timer that adjusts for sealing times based on the thickness of various materials, with available sizes of 4", 8", 12", 16", and 20" having seal widths of 2mm, 2.6mm, or 5mm. The manufacturer's kit includes two heating elements and two PTFE covers. For cut and seal applications, round wire heating elements can be selected at no extra charge by adding "RND" to the model number (e.g., KF-300HRND for a 12" hand sealer). Operation is straightforward: after setting the timer, the user inserts the bag between the sealing bars, presses down, and releases, with a recommendation to hold the sealing arm down for an additional second or two to ensure proper sealing and cooling.
