The KF Impulse Hand Sealer with a sliding cutter is designed for efficient cutting and sealing of poly bags and other thermoplastic materials in one easy step without any warm-up time. Depending on the model, it can seal materials up to 20" wide and 20 mil total thickness. The sealer features a plug-in electronic timer that adjusts sealing times for various material thicknesses. Available sizes include 8", 12", 16", and 20", with seal widths of 2mm, 2.6mm, 5mm, or 10mm. The manufacturer's kit comprises two elements and two PTFE covers. Operation is straightforward: set the timer, insert the bag between the sealing bars, and press down to seal, with a recommendation to hold the sealing arm down for an additional second or two for optimal cooling. For cutting the bag, users can slide the cutting bracket across the material.
