This rugged steel dolly base allows you to create a heavy-duty mobile shelving unit or cart. It is constructed of durable formed steel with a chrome-plated finish and features corner bumpers to protect walls and doorways. The dolly base should be ordered in the same size as your shelves, while plate casters must be ordered separately. For overall height, add approximately 1 1/2" to the wheel size or 3" for 8" casters. The bolt spacing on mounting plates measures 2 5/8" x 3 5/8".
