This rugged steel dolly base is designed to create a heavy-duty mobile shelving unit or cart and is constructed of durable formed steel with a chrome-plated finish. It features corner bumpers that protect walls and doorways. The dolly base should be ordered to match the size of your shelves, while plate casters must be ordered separately. For overall height, add approximately 1 1/2" to the wheel size, or 3" when using 8" casters. The mounting plates have a bolt spacing of 2 5/8" by 3 5/8".
