This set includes two 144"L x 6"H SC Preferred™ unslotted pallet rack beams, each constructed from 15-gauge high-strength one-piece tube-seamed steel with an orange corrosion-resistant baked polyester powder coat finish. The beams feature a 1-5/8"H step beam design that accommodates cross bars and decking. Each pair has a shelf capacity of 5702 lb. and is compatible with teardrop-style uprights. The connector plate ends have three button studs for secure connections to upright frames with positive locking, along with a self-engaging spring-loaded safety clip. To select the proper load beam length, add a minimum of 10" for two pallet widths or 14" for three pallet widths, with additional spacing required for pallets with excessive load overhang. Each pair must support the weight of pallets on each level. This product includes terms for verifying capacities under seismic conditions with a qualified seismic engineer, and the capacity ratings provided apply to static, non-seismic conditions only. Users are responsible for engineering, installation, permits, and verifying quantities.
