This rugged steel dolly base allows you to create a heavy-duty mobile shelving unit or cart and is constructed of durable formed steel with a chrome-plated finish. It features corner bumpers to protect walls and doorways. The dolly base should be ordered in the same size as your shelves, and plate casters must be ordered separately. For overall height calculation, add approximately 1 1/2" to the wheel size, or add 3" for 8" casters. The mounting plates have bolt spacing of 2 5/8" by 3 5/8".
