This rugged steel dolly base is designed to create a heavy-duty mobile shelving unit or cart and is constructed of durable formed steel with a chrome plated finish. The dolly base features corner bumpers to protect walls and doorways and requires ordering the same size as your shelves. Plate casters must be ordered separately, and for overall height, approximately 1 1/2" should be added to the wheel size, with an additional 3" added for 8" casters. The mounting plates have a bolt spacing of 2 5/8" x 3 5/8".
