Dome roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking areas in environments such as office buildings and campus universities. These three-sided shelters feature an open front and are ADA compatible, ensuring accessibility. The framing system is constructed from industrial-grade materials, and the shelters are anodized rather than painted to protect non-smokers from secondhand smoke. These structures help prevent loitering and littering at doorways, which may contribute to reduced OSHA fines and lower insurance premiums. Constructed from maintenance-free Duranodic aluminum and 1/4" tempered safety glass, the shelters are prefabricated in sections for easy assembly and shipped economically. Each model includes a bench and backrest along the rear wall, with custom designs and sizes available. Please note that due to Florida building code requirements, shelters must withstand wind loads of 130 mph to 180 mph, and some models may not be available for sale in Florida. Shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, and if required, site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are also available at an additional cost.
