Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments suitable for office buildings, campus universities, and similar locations, providing a dedicated area while protecting smokers from extreme weather conditions. These shelters can also serve as convenient bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for added comfort. The airflow vented roof minimizes smoke build-up inside the shelter, which can aid in reducing OSHA fines and insurance premiums. Constructed with a robust framing system that meets industrial-grade standards, these smoker shelters are built for durability in outdoor settings. The clear anodized aluminum finish adds to their resilience, while the standing seam roof consists of 11" wide, color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels mounted over a structural roof frame. Clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass is used for the panels. Each outdoor shelter is pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and crated for economical shipping. All models are ADA compliant, with options for three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are also available. It is important to note that due to Florida building code regulations, the wind-load requirements range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, and certain shelters may not be eligible for sale in Florida without engineering services, which are available at an additional cost. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance can also be provided at an additional cost if needed.
