Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments such as office buildings and campus universities, providing a designated area that protects smokers from extreme weather conditions. These shelters can also function as convenient bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfortable seating. Constructed with an industrial-grade framing system to ensure durability, the shelters are made from clear anodized aluminum and have a flat roof built with 1/4" panels laminated with aluminum for break resistance. The glass panels consist of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. Each shelter is pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and crated for low-cost shipping. All models comply with ADA regulations. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). It is important to note that due to Florida building codes, wind-load requirements range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, and some shelters may not be sold in Florida. Shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available for an extra fee if required.
