Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for various outdoor environments, including office buildings and campus universities, providing a designated smoking area while protecting users from extreme weather conditions. Each shelter kit includes an extruded aluminum bench and backrest for a comfortable sitting area, and the robust framing system is built to industrial-grade standards for long-lasting durability. Featuring a dark bronze anodized aluminum finish, the flat roof is constructed with 1/4" panels laminated with aluminum for break resistance, and the glass panels consist of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The outdoor shelters are prefabricated in sections to facilitate easy assembly and are crated for low-cost shipping. All models meet ADA compliance standards. There are options for three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). It is important to note that due to Florida building code regulations, the wind-load requirements in Florida range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and some shelters cannot be sold in the state. Shelters sold to Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an extra charge if required.
