Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments suitable for office buildings, campus universities, and other locations, providing designated areas that protect smokers from extreme weather conditions. These shelters also serve as convenient bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for a comfortable sitting area. The air flow vented roof minimizes smoke build-up inside the shelter. Constructed to industrial-grade standards, the framing system ensures durability for years of outdoor use, while the shelters are finished in dark bronze anodized aluminum. The standing seam roof comprises 11" wide, color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels mounted over a structural roof frame, and the glass panels are made from clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass. The shelters are pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and packaged for economical shipping. All models meet ADA compliance standards. Options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are available. Note that due to Florida building code regulations, wind-load requirements range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and some models cannot be sold in Florida, while all shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are also available at an extra cost if required.
