The Smoking Shelter S4-4VR-DKB is a 4-sided structure with a left open front, measuring 10' L x 10' W, featuring a vented standing seam roof in dark bronze (DK Brz). Designed for outdoor smoking environments such as office buildings and university campuses, this shelter provides a designated area for smokers while shielding them from extreme weather conditions. It can also serve as a convenient bus stop, equipped with an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfort. The air flow vented roof minimizes smoke build-up inside the shelter, and the robust framing system meets industrial grade standards for durability in outdoor settings. The shelter is constructed with dark bronze anodized aluminum and includes an 11" wide standing seam roof made of color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels over a structural frame, along with clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass panels. Each unit is pre-fabricated in sections for simplified assembly and crated for cost-effective shipping, with all models being ADA compliant. Custom designs and sizes are available, and options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with left & right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Note that due to Florida building codes, wind-load specifications range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, and engineering services are required at an additional cost for shelters sold in Florida, along with site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance available if necessary.
