Vented aluminum standing seam roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in office buildings, campus universities, and similar settings, providing a designated area while protecting against extreme weather conditions. These shelters can double as convenient bus stops, featuring an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for a comfortable sitting area. The air flow vented roof minimizes smoke build-up inside the shelter, and the robust framing system is constructed to industrial grade standards for durability in outdoor use. The shelters feature a clear anodized aluminum finish, with a standing seam roof made of 11" wide, color-coordinated Dutch seam aluminum panels supported by a structural frame. Clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass is used for the panels. Each outdoor shelter is pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly and is crated for economical shipping. All models comply with ADA regulations. There are options for three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with left and right front openings (suffix "B"), or four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). Custom designs and sizes are also available. It is important to note that due to Florida building code, wind-load requirements in Florida range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and certain shelters cannot be sold in Florida; those sold in Florida will require engineering services at additional cost. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available for an additional fee if required.
