Flat roof smoking shelters are designed for outdoor smoking environments in settings such as office buildings and campus universities, providing a designated area that protects smokers from extreme weather conditions. These shelters can also serve as convenient bus stops and include an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for comfort. Built to industrial grade standards, the framing system is durable enough for years of outdoor use. The smoking shelters feature a dark bronze anodized aluminum finish, a flat roof constructed from 1/4" break-resistant laminated aluminum panels, and clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass panels. Pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly, these outdoor shelters are crated for economical shipping. All models comply with ADA standards, and options include three-sided shelters with an open front (suffix "A"), four-sided shelters with open left and right front openings (suffix "B"), and four-sided shelters with a left front opening (suffix "C"). It's important to note that due to Florida building code, the wind-load requirements in the state range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida without additional engineering services to ensure compliance. Site-specific engineered drawings and calculations are available for an additional cost if required.
