The barrel roof design of these smoking shelters offers low maintenance by preventing rain and snow build-up. The four-sided shelters with a left front opening provide a designated smoking area, protecting non-smokers from secondhand smoke. They are constructed to help reduce OSHA fines and lower insurance premiums. The framing system is built to industrial-grade standards, ensuring durability for years of outdoor use. The shelters are made with anodized aluminum in a 313 dark bronze anodic finish, while the barrel roof consists of 1/4" thick double-walled polycarbonate. Clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass is used for the panels. Designed for easy assembly, the outdoor shelters are pre-fabricated in sections and crated for low-cost shipping. Each shelter includes an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall for a comfortable sitting area for smokers. They are ADA compatible and custom designs and sizes are available. It is important to note that due to Florida building code, the wind-load requirements in Florida are between 130 MPH to 180 MPH, which may affect the sale of some shelters in the state. All shelters sold in Florida will require engineering services at an additional cost, and site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance are available at an additional cost if required.
