The slanted hip roof design of the smoking shelters offers an attractive appearance suitable for both commercial and residential environments. These three-sided, open front outdoor smoking shelters are designed to prevent loitering and littering at doorways by providing a designated smoking area. The Butt Stop outdoor shelters are constructed with industrial-grade anodized aluminum featuring a 313 dark bronze anodic finish, ensuring durability for years of outdoor use. The shelters include glass panels made of clear 1/4" thick tempered safety glass, while the slanted hip roof is composed of 1/4" thick double-walled polycarbonate. Pre-fabricated in sections for easy assembly, the shelters are crated for low-cost shipping. Each shelter is equipped with an extruded aluminum bench and backrest along the rear wall to offer a comfortable sitting area for smokers and is ADA compatible. Custom designs and sizes are available. It is important to note that due to Florida building code requirements, wind-load specifications range from 130 MPH to 180 MPH, and certain shelters cannot be sold in Florida. Shelters sold in Florida will necessitate engineering services at an additional cost, with site-specific engineered drawings and calculations for building code compliance available if required.
