Penco® Vanguard Box Over Single Wide Lockers feature a locking top compartment that enhances security. This single wide steel locker has a full height of 60" H and includes a 12" H box locker on top for additional storage. Constructed from prime grade cold rolled steel, the welded door frame utilizes mortise and tenon construction for added strength. The locker is equipped with 16 gauge steel doors that are louvered for ventilation and 5-knuckle hinges that provide increased durability. It features a die-cast latching handle for smooth operation using spring-loaded latch clips. Unique nylon glides in the latch channels and rubber bumpers on the latch hooks help reduce noise for quieter operation. Additionally, the locker includes 2 single prong coat hooks, and the top box locker has a padlockable friction hasp and latch for secure storage of books and equipment (locks sold separately). Each compartment comes with number plates; please specify the number at the time of order. The legs of the locker add 6" to its height, and it features a powder coat finish for durability. It is easy to assemble, and as of March 1, 2021, the champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain a consistent color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers do the same. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will incorporate common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available for longer lead times and an additional charge.
