The half height locker is designed specifically for children's schools, learning centers, and confined areas where full height lockers are impractical. Constructed from prime grade cold rolled steel, this steel single wide locker provides a single compartment for efficient storage of books, supplies, and equipment. The welded door frame features mortise and tenon construction to enhance durability. The 16 gauge steel door is louvered for ventilation and employs 5-knuckle hinges for added strength. The locker comes with number plates, which must be specified at the time of order. It incorporates a die-cast latching handle for quick and easy operation with spring-loaded latch clips. The latch channels are equipped with unique nylon glides, while the latch hooks include rubber bumpers to minimize noise for quieter operation. Additionally, the locker includes 2 single prong coat hooks and a coat rod for hanging wardrobe items. Finished with a powder coat, it is easy to assemble. Effective March 1, 2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain the same color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers share a uniform color. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will have common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available upon request with longer lead times and an additional charge.
