The Bluff® heavy duty steel dock board with lock pins is a forkliftable dock board designed for easy and adjustable positioning between truck and dock. It features fold-down lifting loops for forklift transport and positioning, and includes two 1" diameter positioning pins along with two 4-position pin pockets on each side for exact and secure placement between dock and truck. Constructed with all welded steel, this dock board is suitable for high traffic cycles and multiple shift docks. It includes one 7° bend 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend 8" from the truck end, complying with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity rating is the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, intended for single shift use with equipment speeds up to 3 mph. The width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with usable width being 6" less than overall width. It is not recommended for use with stackers or narrow aisle loaders, and refrigerated trucks require special dock boards. The application height supports up to 11" above dock or 4.5" below dock with propane or gas forklifts, and up to 8.5" above dock or 4.5" below dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
