The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop starter measures 108"W x 42"D x 144"H and offers versatility for warehouses with diverse product types. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels. The pallet rack upright frames and pallet beams are constructed from high-strength steel and other quality materials, featuring tear drop perforations on the upright columns for shelf adjustment at 2" increments. The frames have a green powder coat finish for durability, while standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams incorporate a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, providing protection against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof locking system ensures a secure connection and maximizes total capacity. The 1-5/8" step within the beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories. Expanding your pallet rack system is straightforward with Interlake Mecalux welded pallet rack add-on units, and assembly is easy. These units are also interchangeable with brands such as Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The capacity is determined based on 36" beam shelf spacing, and the units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
