The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack teardrop add-on measures 96"W x 42"D x 120"H and consists of a welded selective pallet rack add-on unit that includes one upright frame and two beam shelf levels, providing versatility for warehouses with various product types. The pallet rack upright frames and beams are constructed from high-strength steel and feature tear drop perforations for 2" incremental shelf adjustment. The upright frames are finished with a durable green powder coat, while the orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, preventing accidental displacement and enhancing security. This locking system is designed to be damage and tamper-proof, maximizing total capacity. The 1-5/8" step in the orange beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories, enabling simple assembly and interchangeability with brands such as Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The add-on units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI) and have a capacity based on 36" beam shelf spacing.
