The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop add-on measures 96"W x 48"D x 120"H and is designed to enhance versatility in warehouses that handle a diverse range of product types. This easy-to-order, pre-configured add-on unit includes one upright frame and two beam shelf levels. The pallet rack upright frames and beams are constructed from high-strength steel and quality raw materials, featuring tear drop perforations that allow for adjustable shelf placement at 2-inch increments. The frames have a green powder coat finish for durability, while standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams employ a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that locks automatically, providing protection against accidental beam displacement. This tamper-proof locking system ensures the most secure connection in the industry, maximizing total capacity. Additionally, the 1-5/8" step within the beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories, allowing for easy assembly and compatibility with various brands such as Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The capacity rating is based on 36" beam shelf spacing, and the product is certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
