The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop add-on measures 120"W x 42"D x 144"H and includes one upright frame and two beam shelf levels, designed to enhance versatility in warehouses with diverse product types. The pallet rack upright frames and beams are constructed from high-strength steel, featuring tear drop perforations that allow for shelf adjustments at 2" increments. The green powder coat finish on the upright frames provides a durable and even coating, while the standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams include a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, which protects against accidental beam displacement, ensuring a secure connection and maximizing total capacity. The piston lock system is damage and tamper-proof, preventing disengagement during use, and the 1-5/8" step within the beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories. This add-on unit allows for easy assembly and is interchangeable with Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible products. Additionally, the Interlake Mecalux welded pallet rack tear drop add-on units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
