Heated entrance mats are designed for outdoor entryways, loading docks, handicap ramps, and more during winter, featuring a robust construction with non-slip, UV protected rubber for durability in harsh weather. The mats are equipped with 3/8" diameter grommet holes on each side, approximately every 3 feet, to facilitate secure attachment to surfaces. An electrically operated heating element is sandwiched between two layers of non-slip rubber, ensuring a wear-resistant design comparable to automobile tires. The mats connect to any standard outlet via a GFCI protected, 6' power cord and have an overall thickness of 1/4". They maintain an average temperature of 40 degrees above the ambient temperature, effectively melting snow at a rate of approximately 2" per hour when activated prior to snowfall.
