Heattak® snow & ice melting walkway mats measure 4' x 6' and operate at 240V, making them suitable for outdoor entryways, loading docks, handicap ramps, and more during the winter season. These mats are constructed from non-slip, UV-protected rubber, which enhances their durability for outdoor use. Each mat features 3/8" diameter grommet holes on each side, approximately every 3 feet, allowing for secure attachment to surfaces. The heating element is electrically operated and sandwiched between two layers of non-slip rubber, providing a wear-resistant design comparable to that of automobile tires. The mats plug into any standard outlet through a GFCI protected, 6' power cord and have an overall thickness of 1/4". They maintain an average temperature of 40 degrees above the ambient temperature, effectively melting snow at an average rate of approximately 2" per hour, making them effective when turned on before snowfall. The product is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
