Heated entrance mats are designed for outdoor entryways, loading docks, handicap ramps, and other areas during the winter season. These mats feature a non-slip, UV protected rubber construction, making them suitable for outdoor use. Each mat includes 3/8" diameter grommet holes on each side, approximately every 3 feet, allowing for secure attachment to the surface. The mats consist of an electrically operated heating element sandwiched between two layers of durable non-slip rubber, providing a wear resistance comparable to that of automobile tires. They plug into any standard outlet through a GFCI protected, 6' L power cord and have an overall thickness of 1/4". The mats maintain an average temperature of 40 degrees above the ambient temperature and can effectively melt snow at an average rate of approximately 2" per hour. They come with a 2-year limited warranty.
